![]() Flood Pets The Cobb County Animal Control Unit is reaching out to the victims of the recent floods and trying to re-unite families with their pets. Thanks to the hard work of Animal Control officers and Public Safety personnel, only 16 of 70 animals recovered during the floods remain at the shelter. If you recognize one of these pets as your animal, please contact the Animal Control unit. The $50 recovery fee will be waived for flood victims recovering these pets. To receive your pet, you must bring a picture I.D. and the latest Rabies shot record to the Animal Control office. Animal Control is located at 1060 Al Bishop Drive, off County Services Parkway. Hours of operation are Tuesday-Saturday 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Sunday 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. For more information please call (770) 499-4136.
