Popular animal Adopt-A-Thon event to be held in May
Residents are invited to find a new best friend to take home at Cobb County Animal Control's Adopt-A-Thon 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, May 19. The event will be held at the shelter, located at 1060 Al Bishop Drive, Marietta. There will be vendors, food, police K-9 demonstrations, special adoption rates and a raffle. People will also have the chance to meet the county's on-staff veterinarian. For more information, call 770-590-5614.
Cobb County Animal Control was established in 1971. As part of Cobb's Department of Public Safety, we serve
all of Cobb County protecting the citizens and animals of Cobb County.
The mission of the Cobb County Animal Control Unit is to enforce the state laws and county ordinances
pertaining to animal control and management; educate the community in responsible pet ownership and wildlife
care; and provide for the housing and care of homeless animals and coordinate their adoption when possible
and their humane euthanization when adoption is not possible.

Spay/Neuter - View Video

The Cobb County Animal Control Unit is a great place to find that addition to your family. Adoption fees are $110 for all animals. All animals have been spayed/neutered and are current on all vaccinations. Dogs over 6 months old have been heartworm tested and cats over 6 months have been combo tested.
